OpenZone signs a memorandum of understanding with TusPark (Jiangsu) Innovation Research Institute

23 May 2021 - The two entities will collaborate particularly in the field of startup creation and growth and technology scouting, with a focus on healthcare, life sciences, medical technologies and digital health, with the purpose of stimulating the growth of respective ecosystems.

TusPark (Jiangsu) Innovation Research Institute and OpenZone signed a memorandum of understanding establishing a cooperative relationship to help the two innovation ecosystems prosper and grow.

According to the content of the document, the two entities will collaborate particularly in the field of startup creation and growth and technology scouting, with a focus on healthcare, life sciences, medical technologies and digital health, with the purpose of stimulating the growth of respective ecosystems.

Hao Tang, General Manager at TusPark (Jiangsu) Research Institute, whose mission is to become a leader in R&D and to be a bridge in the field of Science & Technology between national and foreign entities, said: “We are happy to join forces with OpenZone, seizing the opportunity of Sino-Italian Science & Technology cooperation. We look forward to working closely with OpenZone to support the exchange of resources and achieve a win-win situation, expand our open innovation social network”.

TusPark (Jiangsu) Innovation Research Institute and OpenZone established a general framework for further specific agreements, in order to foster projects and joint development programs, build a solid and long-lasting relationship for the benefit of each one’s regional small and medium-sized enterprises, exchange knowledge and advice on science park management experiences barriers and best practices.

As OpenZone we are strongly willing to make available to our ‘zoners’ all the opportunities that will arise from the different activities that we are evaluating, in order to make possible a growing and fruitful relations between our two different ecosystems” says Fabrizio Conicella, General Manager at OpenZone, a campus dedicated to Health on the doorstep of Milan (Italy), founded by Zambon to build bridges and encourage partnerships, with the mission of uniquely creating value in Healthcare, by fostering community, competencies and capital.       

Both innovation areas are active members of IASP, International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation.
