Assobiotec conducts its collective representation activities by remaining intensely engaged with national and regional institutions and with European bodies, as well as in exchanges and collaborations with entrepreneurial organizations, scientific institutions, and patient and consumer associations. The Association performs its activities through the efforts of a number of different Working Groups, each of them is dedicated to specific themes.
Within the Association, there are both “vertical” Working Groups, focused on different fields of application for biotechnology (health, agriculture, food, industry, environment), as well as “horizontal” groups, whose work focuses on topics of interest for multiple fields (small-to-medium enterprises, taxes, communication).
